Carol is a British-American film from a screenplay based on the novel The Price of Salt The film tells the story of a young aspiring photographer and her relationship with an older woman going through a difficult divorce.

In development for over 11 years by British producers of Number 9 Films and Film4 Productions. Carol was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, where Mara tied for the Best Actress award. The film has received critical acclaim.  www.drsummerreed.com
