Earlier this week, there was an incident at the Ronald E. McNair Discovery Learning Academy, just outside of Atlanta. A young man came into the school fully armed with bags of weapons and ammunition and threatened to kill everyone and himself. He did fire several shots, but thank God, no one was injured. On last week's show, Dr. Peg shared information on recognizing signs that someone may be moving on a pathway to violence. But what do you do if you find yourself in a potentially violent situation like the one in Georgia? How do you respond to an active shooter on campus, in the workplace, or in a public location like a church or movie theater? Dr. Peg has answers on this episode of Living Well with Dr. Peg.
