Dr. Anne Van Couvering is a Naturopathic Physician who specializes in complex chronic conditions, including Lyme disease and autism spectrum disorders. But her first, great passion is treating autism.
She studied naturopathic medicine at the National College for Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon and received her BA with high honors from the University of California at Berkeley. She has a family practice in Long Island, New York and Berkeley, California and is a member of MAPS and ILADS.
She uses a mixture of conventional and alternative medicine, with focus on nutrition, herbal medicine, and is certified in Ozone Therapy. She has studied methylation and nutrigenomics with Dr Ben Lynch, Shawn Bean, Dr. Paul Anderson and Dr. Jess Armine. Working to strengthen and balance the body, to optimize SNP pathways and understand chronic illness within the context of both genetics and environment, she crafts a path to wellness and optimal health distinct to each individual.
Dr. Couvering will talk about her approach to healing and, of course, there will be time for Q&A!
