Greetings, My name is Dr. Nathan Fearrington, Psychologist/Licensed Psychotherapist. Welcome to my talk show. This show is centered on families dealing with child support and custody issues; particularly how children are affected. As a researcher and clinician, I have realized that this is an issue that negatively impacts our society. It seems imperative that the challenges that children experience as a result of parental conflicts related to child support and custody need to be recognized and addressed on a broader scale. The Dr. Fearrington show includes interviewing fathers to address the following: challenges related to involvement with the children; strained relationship with mother of the children; poor relationship with the judicial system (child support/ custody); financial challenges related to overall problem, and more. Also, mothers are interviewed to address the issues related to fathers' involvement; conflicts with father of the children; financial challenges related to the overall problem, and more.
