Mothers Day celebrates and honors mothers, but motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.  It is celebrated on various days mostly in the spring with some countries.  Mothers Day began in the early 20th centry.  Even though Mother's Day is on Sunday, I want to take the time out to recognize mothers all over the world early on today's broadcast.
