Ideas are form of currency that excludes capitalism, when used ethically. There are plenty of "snakes in the grass" when it comes to capitalistic ways of thinking. When we're aware of certain topics, and capable of communicating effectively -- we have the power to move consciousness in minds around us. This doesn't require a form of capitalism because we are capable of adding to the conversation for everyone to benefit. This makes research, and dedication to learning a key trait in the personalities of the people who like to talk about important matter.
