Effective communication is the most important element in every healthy relationship. Personal sensitivities can trigger emotional reactions and easily derail our connections to others. If we are not able to accurately express our thoughts or feelings, we end up feeling unheard and undervalued; however, the appropriate expression of our state of being allows us to experience more connectivity and self-worth.

Assertive communication is the most effective approach in communication since it reduces the likelihood of misunderstandings and results in a respectful manner of conveying our messages. By applying this type of mature communication we are building trust and can feel happier in every relationship, including at work and in social events.

Join Dr. Sadigh and his special guest Anita Avedian, MFT, Thought Field Therapist, and the Co-founder of Anger Management 818 as they explain how passive or aggressive styles of communication result in further deterioration of relationships and create mistrust.

Without learning healthy and effective communication we cannot feel assertive enough and be successful in dealing with others in an appropriate manner. In this interview you find out which parts of your communication need to be improved.
