Dr. Jeanette welcomes Dr. Mark Constantian, M.D., author of Childhood Abuse, Body Shame, and Addictive Plastic Surgery; The Face of Trauma to share his work with the body and emotional being of his clients. Dr. Mark went on a seekers journey to find answers and start to question the dogma and beliefs that have been upheld in the past. It is the time to honor more than the procedure to fix something on a body and engage in the heart and soul of the person in all steps of the patient process.

Can we continue to work on the parts of the physical body and deny or ignore the complexity of the mind, body, and soul?

What can affect the way we look at our body, care for the physical form and drive the mechanism of the mind; is it all a short and simple procedure with perfect outcomes?

Is the perfection of the outside form and indicator of the internal being that generates life as we know it?

Can you create a mask to wear that will make you whole and in alignment with how you want to feel, how you think about yourself and how you reflect who you are to others?

How does trauma at any level of our life affect the way we think or perceive ourselves?

"Childhood trauma is the New Age PTSD", Dr. Jeanette Gallagher

Have physicians felt the pressure to 'stay in their lane' and not ask the patient what is really going on inside of them before starting any procedures? Is this total disengagement going to last once the physician knows there is so much more about the body that they cannot turn back? Can they too be the seeker for more knowing and exploration?
