The Box Out returns after a week off and just when we thought there was no more NBA news to report, more continues to happen.

Last week, it was reported that Kyrie Irving requested a trade out of Cleveland as he was no longer interested in being LeBron James’ little brother. There are reportedly four teams on Irving’s wish list to get traded to, and one of them is...THE NEW YORK KNICKS. What does this mean for the Knicks, Irving and more importantly Carmelo Anthony who is looking for a way out? Kahlil and Jason will discuss.

In local news, the Nets for Allen Crabbe this week. If you remember the Nets signed Crabbe to an offer sheet last summer, which Portland matched. Now Brooklyn finally gets the guys they want. The guys talk about whether this means that the Nets could be a fringe playoff team.

Finally, in a special summer topic, Kahlil and Jason will look back on the classic movie “Above The Rim” starting Duane Martin and Tupac Shakur. Where does this movie fall in all-time great basketball films?

All that and more on a new episode of The Box Out.
