The beating of Rodney King at the hands of police occurred 25 years ago. The aftermath was a series of events that led to the infamous L.A Riots of 1992. Since then we have seen similar, if not worse, situations occur as a result of a corrupt and unfair legal system. The Black community has rallied, rioted and tried its best to navigate through a system not designed for us, and nothing seems to have changed...or has it?
Tonight's guest is Tim Hall. He and I will discuss the riots, racism and other situations that have placed many Black communities on edge. Is there a resolve to all of this, or should we just prepare the next generation for a series of repeats?
