Zach Affolter, 17 years old and a great role model of a young man. Affolter lives in San Diego and is a high school student. A mover and a shaker this young activist has many accolades under his belt. Affolter just recently returned from a trip to Costa Rica where he volunteered for 2 weeks and watched over and protected sea turtle eggs from poachers. A Junior Activist Captain for Earthrace Conservation Organization, led by Pete Bethune (ex-captain of the ship Ady Gil that was sunk by the Japanese whalers). Campaigned in school district to remove school functions from SeaWorld and give better environmental education to students.

This young man has done so much for his young life, more than many of us can dream of doing in a life time. He also writes poetry, makes and directs his own environmental videos too.
