Ayana Songstress is Washington DC's most anticipated PoP/R&B recording artist of 2013. From the age of 3, she sang in her church choir and would go on to perform in the Largo High School choir and band. At an early age, Ayana achieved stellar performances as an athelete and placed second in the nation in track and field. Ayana writes and produces her own music.  She has opened for artists such as Sunni Mone, Raheem Devaughn and Yo Gotti.  She recently performed for Fox5 TV, in the annual charity event to feed less fortunate families during the holidays. Her first single and video "Lost Yo Mind" was released 2012 on YouTube. Her second single "Miles Away" was released this summer. Ayana is now completing her EPK in anticipation of her upcoming album "Diamond in the Ruff" set for release in 2013. This very special entertainer is followed by over 6,000 followers on Twitter and over 68,000 on YouTube. She is a native Washingtonian, born and raised in NW Washington DC.
