Belinda was born and raised in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. She is the proud mother of three daughters and the grandmother of five children. She is a hard-working entrepreneur owner of her own travel agency and a newly turned author of her first novel. Belinda is very devoted in her walk in Christ Jesus. Her personal story is the testimony of all types of abuse, including bullying, child abuse and domestic violence. These life’s situations caused her to live a life with massive hurdles to overcome. Belinda is a dedicated advocate for all people who have either experienced or witnessed this themselves or know of someone that has. Her story, Truth Be Told unveils the family secrets and generational trends that any abuse can lead to. Belinda plans to reveal how abuse can come and all types of packages {verbal, physical, mental}. Belinda is very compassionate about educating the public about this painful issue. She is strongly committed to bringing this darkness to light, which is the first step of the healing process for us all.

Belinda wishes to reach out and inspire others through her story in order that they can understand and overcome such traumatic experiences, just as she has been charged to do. Belinda has spent 98% of her life battling against the abuse and secrets that it causes and she has kept hidden until now!
