Shakeena Whitmore Interviews Antoinette Patterson

Antoinette Patterson is a flexible author of literary fiction, nonfiction and a playwright who knows how to put life into her writings and has an amazing creative prowess in the use of words to edify, encourage and hold her readers spell bound, which is what her readers say about her. 

Going by the pen name Ladii, she has written and published over four fictions and non fictions books some of which include: A Lifetime of Love and Through God, She Made It, which chronicles the triumphs of her daughter living with special needs. Antoinette is committed to not only advocating for her daughter but for other children and families nation wide. She is a passionate speaker who is devoted to raising awareness for Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Global Developmental Delay, and Epilepsy communities.  

Currently, she is working on turning the two fictional books into a stage-play; which will debut on July 1, 2017 in Ohio.  

Outside of her writing career, she finds joy in reconciling ailing relationships and putting smiles on people’s faces. She is a good listener and an amazing motivator. Ladii is pursuing a BA in Advertising and Public Relations with an Emphasis in Advertising Design.  If not at work, she is spending time with her family especially her husband of 33 years, being a wife, mom and woman of God.
