Shakeena Whitmore Interviews Joanne Coley

Joanne Coley is a Communications Professional who currently supports the efforts of start-up clothier Crowned Classic Clothing as Vice President of Brand Management, Marketing & Public Relations. In this role, her responsibilities include: social media management, media relations, brand exposure, customer communications as well as designing and executing marketing/sales and promotional campaigns.

Miss Coley has hands on experience executing campaigns to build positive image and gain public awareness on behalf of individual and organizational clients. Her background covers event planning & coordination, publicity campaign development & execution and, producing communication materials (press releases, fact sheets, newsletters, brochures and, marketing proposals). In addition to Crowned Classic Clothing, Miss Coley has supported or represented, Global Development Service for Youth, Inc., and The Leigh Bodden Foundation. Her efforts have resulted in both organizations maintaining a positive image with the media and community alike as well as led to the implementation of successful efforts by both to mentor and inspire youth development. These experiences are sure to prove invaluable as she seeks to publicize and promote Crowned Classic Clothing, sharing the inspirational component that is a key element of the company’s product offerings. Miss Coley holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Communications from Kent State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts Degree in Communications/Public Relations from Southern New Hampshire University.
