Ep#140 - A Discussion with Disney Producer Don Hahn

Starting his film career with 1977's Pete's Dragon, Don Hahn began a path that would lead to producing the first ever animated film to be nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards in Beauty and the Beast.  He then produced such films as The Lion King, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, DisneyNature's Chimpanzees, African Cats, Waking Sleeping Beauty and the upcoming documentary Howard which tells the story of songwriter Howard Ashman.  We are thrilled to have him join us on the show to discuss all of that and more including his latest book, Yesterday's Tomorrow : Disney's Magical Mid-Century.
