Say it Loud, I'm Black and I'm Proud....FOR REAL??

Hey there Tea Sippers!!  Today is going to be a very INTERESTING day as we are going to be down and dirty as I give my take on the past Black Gay Pride events that have transpired this past weekend.

Yes, It is a Don't Come out of a Bag Wednesday and I KNOW I will be saying a few things today that you may not agree with, but it's cool.  This will give us an opportunity to create and establish dialogue so we can get to the ROOT of the issues.  Now, YOU KNOW THE RULES....  We can talk about any and everything RIGHT HERE... RIGHT NOW, BUT If you come out of a bag on me, I will come out of a BIGGER BAG on YOU.

Here are a few things that are on my mind this week:

1. Black Gay Pride: Why don't we EVER know how to contain ourselves and act like we got some GOOD SENSE? I'm sure you have seen the fights that have transpired over the weekend.  The questions become, WHY come all the way out of town just to FIGHT? What was the thrill in fighting and being seen all over YouTube, Facebook, and InstaGram? What was the point?
2. The Diabolical Separation between the Promoters vs. The Non-Profit organization:  This year was the 20th Anniversary of Atlanta's Black Gay Pride and there seemed to have been a great disconnect.  Why can't these entities come together for the GREATER GOOD of the COMMUNITY?
3. A Couple of Dear Big Meach letters that are a doozie!

This is going to be a HOT POT for your nerves, my Tea Sippers, so make sure you've got PLENTY of crumpets and a couple of your good gal pals!
