Hey there Tea Sippers....welcome to 2014! To begin a New Year, we are going to inspire you to reach for your greatness, aspire to be your very best, and desire for all that your heart, mind, body and soul says is to be acquired by you while on this side of creation. In order to do that, we must do the required work in order to have a healthy stance along the journey and the foundation of that work is EDUCATION.

As we all know, the educational system has failed our society and their doesn't seem to be any recourse or reSOURCE to get it on track. The tools used to evaluate our children's or even our own IQs are antiquated and flawed and offers very hope for the future of competence in this ever changing technological world.

My guest today is someone who is the spearhead for making the system ACCOUNTABLE for how it educates us and our children so that we can have and build equity as a productive, educated, employable,  citizen in our society. Mr. Yusef Salaam will introduce us to TEST OUR KIDS, an organization dedicated to ending iliteracy in our country and give parents the skill set and the information needed to build the foundation of a child's education. 

This is going to be a significantly HOT POT from which to sip, darlings do bring plenty of crumpets and tea biscuits because this will ignite your palate.
