Dino will be speaking with MIT Professor Craig James Wilder, author of the book Ebony and Ivy: Race, Slavery, and the Troubled History of America's Universities. Many of America’s revered colleges and universities—from Harvard, Yale, and Princeton to Rutgers, Williams College, and UNC—were soaked in the sweat, the tears, and sometimes the blood of Black people. Professor Wilder takes a look at this inconvenent truth behind some of America's most prestigious universities. In 2012 265,000 Black people were reported missing according to FBI statistics. Derrica Wilson founder of Black and Missing Foundation Inc. a non-profit organization will be with us. BAM FI brings awareness about missing persons of color and provides vital resources and tools to missing person's families and friends and educates on personal safety. The former President of South Africa is now an ancestor, the warrior Nelson Mandela.
