Shawny Wright has taken the gospel music world by storm since her debut single "On Fire" from her debut EP "Touch of Paradise". With a sweet voice, bold energy and an inspirational faith, Shawny is recognized as one of gospel music's new rising artist of today. Born and raised in Spartanburg, SC. Shawny grew up surrounded by the strong influences of her family, their faith, and their music.

At age 9, she began singing and writing her own songs and began to realize there was an anointing and calling on her life. She began to write gospel songs that were appealing and songs people can relate to. At 18 years of age, Shawny started focusing on her career as a gospel artist in 2009 and has been touring the states and sharing the stage with well renowned recording artists as Chris August, Royal Taylor, Jonathan Nelson,The Anointed Jackson Sisters of Malaco Records,Erica Cumbo, This'L, Pro and many more.

The message Shawny has always wanted to relay to people is that she wants her music to be so much more than music and a catchy beat . She wants to build the desire for the Lord in people and for them to seek him more and more.
