She is all these titles, but more importantly Ashley Hawkins is an artist. An artist who enjoys having and using various outlets to express her thoughts, moods, opinions and a voice to speak out onto those who are willing to listen. Ashley Hawkins also known as A$HCA$H began penning poems as an elementary school student in San Diego, CA. She continued writing throughout her middle and high school years. She began performing in 2010 while living in Hawaii. In 2012 she moved back to San Diego and continued to perform and work on her craft. In 2013 she began co-hosting on World Tuned Radio for their poetry segment and at the same time hosting an open mic show in North County called Rhapsody. In 2014 she began hosting at Choices. And she just recently featured at Rhymes & Wines in Scottsdale, Arizona. When she’s not vigorously penning, working, or performing.
