Usolosopher Bio

"My name is Molimau Andrew Fatu. I go by Moli for short. My poet/spoken word name is Usolosopher. Uso means brother in the Samoan language. I am also a philosophy major. I had put those two words together to create my poet/spoken word name Usolosopher. I'm a Samoan that was born in Long Beach, CA on June 13, 1986. I'm 30 years old. People tell me that I have an old soul. I am in a relationship with my soul mate Jolita Berry for over three years. I am the oldest of five, having two brothers and two sisters. My parents are from Samoa. Samoa is a small island in the South Pacific, with other islands of what they call Polynesia. Polynesian means many islands. I started writing poetry in the sixth grade at middle school. I used poetry to get my voice out and to also get at girls during my time in grade school. Back then, I would never think of being so involved in poetry as I am today with having my first book of poetry out: "The Diary of A Mad Uso."
