Tim grew up in a small farming town in Lower Michigan. He spent many summer days on the banks of the Two Hearted River near Lake Superior. There he developed a love for fishing and exploring the outdoors.

Tim writes the Bleedingfinger Blog. He is a poet and freelance writer. Husband for nearly 16 years to Heather (Sweet 2 the Soul blog), father of 4, 3 girls and a new baby boy. The 2 middle girls have Type 1, dx in April 09 and April 2011.

Tim is active with socila medi and was one of teh founders of the Facebook group D-Dads, dads battling diabetes.
