“Song of the Khalsa” is a beloved classic and uplifting song that is sung during 3HO Gurdwaras and events. The empowering lyrics call us all to live in our highest potential and light. The song also includes a good bit of Sikh history that has a way of inspiring folks on all spiritual paths. In this session Livtar Singh, the writer and composer of “Song of the Khalsa”, and I will talk about his process of creating this song, how it became part of the fiber of 3HO life, and how this and other great songs generate inspiration and hope in surprising ways and with unexpected people.  

Livtar Singh has been a student of Yogi Bhajan and life in general since 1969. In the summer of 1970, Yogiji sent him to Atlanta, GA to found Guru Ram Das Ashram. With his saintly wife Livtar Kaur, he has been practicing and teaching Kundalini Yoga and Meditation there ever since, over 46 years.
