What happens when you can see your loved one's health declining daily, and YOU seem POWERLESS to save them. The person you married, mothered or fathered you has changed so drastically they are nrecogniziable. They don't or can't speak to you, they're confused or seem angry with your offered suggestions. You seem to do the wrong things, no matter what you do. You become fearful because you see their fear as agitation, aggressiveness, anxiety or apathy.
What does the caregiver do? Yes, you can join a support group, take classes, but in most cases, at some point you must be willing to save yourself.
Join us today as we explore what does the caregiver do to help themselves as they watch the changes take place as they share the journey from powerless over illness, disease and death to the victories seen the mysterious outcomes their loved ones will experience.
Today and every Tuesday at 12:30 PM CST my co-host Dr. Rachel Lindsey and I will explore ways the caregiver can be nurtured and empowered through their caregiving experiences.
