Giving and Receiving the Prophetic Word

Today we will talk about giving and receiving the prophetic word. Have you ever "gotten a word" from a prophet, and it either confused you, or seemed as if the prophet might be adding to or misunderstanding the words they spoke to you? Have you ever given a word to someone that didn't make any sense to you?

There have been several incidents that I can recall in my own life when I was involved in both the giving of a word, and receiving a prophetic word, that were lessons in how to rightly speak forth a word, and what to do when you get a prophecy that doesn't seem to sit right with you or make much sense.
