Great Cloud of Witnesses, Henry Ward Beecher, & Ps. 30:12 (Everyday Thanks #56)

Today, I am thankful that I am surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses.

Our quote of thanks is from Henry Ward Beecher. He said, "Pride slays thanksgiving, but an humble mind is the soil out of which thanks naturally grows. A proud man is seldom a grateful man, for he never thinks he gets as much as he deserves."

Our Bible verse of thanks is Psalm 30:12. It reads, "To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever."
