Part 1 - Dr. Bruetman - Hospice & Palliative Medicine

Please join us for the first in a very special 4 part evening series.  This evening, I will be joined by our guest,  Dr. Daniel Bruetman, medical oncologist with IU Health Goshen Center for Cancer Care.

Dr. Bruetman is a driving force in the latest in cancer treatment as the principal investigator for multiple clinical studies.  He is a board-certified oncologist, and is also board certified in hospiceand palliative medicine.

Dr. Bruetman will address trends in hospice care and palliative medicine, incorporating

• What differentiates hospice care from palliative medicine, and when is each warranted?
• Palliative care for cancer patients
• Beyond physical—addressing the emotional , psychological , and spiritual aspects of serious or terminal illness
