Don't Stop Halfway!

Bill Pruitt has participated in clubs in Texas, Chicago, So Carolina, No Carolina and Alabama for 20 years before settling in Georgia. Bill was recognized as "Toastmaster of the Year" in the state of Alabama in 1985. He started Tennessee Valley Club.  He became a Distinguished ToastMaster (DTM) as a member of the Mason-Dixon Toastmasters.  He now resides in Georgia in our very own District 44! He has some wisdom for Toastmasters who have thoughts of leaving when personal things happen - like loss of a a job. Sometimes Toastmasters feel like they can't come and participate - but Bill feels that they should go without a meal instead!  Participation in a Toastmasters club will help solve their problems!  Some words of wisdom... You don't get "paid" by the hour as a Toastmaster... you get "paid" by the hours you put into it [and the results you achieve - like getting that new opportunity!].  Host: Barb Wallace
