His art and writing is inspired by 25+ years of meditation and astral projection practices. At the age of 19 he began spontaneously experiencing the phenomenon known as "lucid dreaming"; highly intense states of awareness where the dreamer "wakes up" to the fact that he/she is dreaming. As these experiences increased in frequency and intensity, so did his questions about the nature of mind, consciousness and reality. His quest for answers led Ian into the study of Chi, Shamanism, Medicinal Plants, Quantum Theory and Eastern Philosophy. 

Ian Jaydid is an author, public speaker and artist who began spontaneously Lucid Dreaming at the age of 19. Lacking any knowledge on the phenomenon and not knowing where to turn for help, Ian essentially blazed his own path through Lucidity and Astral Travel by extensive trial and error, leading to insights and techniques rarely, if ever, discussed including the “Avatar Approach” (Lucid Dream Research) and the importance of mastering one’s Narrative. He is the author of the critically-acclaimed, “Tripping the Field”, a fictional adventure based on his own insights into the occult and shamanism, and the creator of Iboga Moon Productions (Ianjaydid.com). He currently resides in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
