Hailing from Baltimore Maryland, Courtney Lesia Williams is a middle school math teacher in Prince George's County. She is a graduate of Lincoln University of Pennsylvania and is a master’s candidate at Loyola University.

After the unexpected loss of her father to heart disease, Courtney has made it her mission to prevent others from experiencing the same heartbreak. Through the development of her forthcoming foundation, Courtney aims to use her family tragedy to change the conversation on men's health from just a men's issue to a family issue.

Through her work, Courtney recognizes the need for girls to see educated women commanding attention and challenging the status quo. She wants to inspire girls to be loud and to take up space. Through her life’s work and this title, she seeks to remind girls that being smart has never been more beautiful.
