Damácia Howard: Achieving Goals and Accomplishing Dreams @ 13!

As an energetic, loving, caring and giving 13 year old, Damacia Howard “Miss Georgia Pre-Teen 2016” is honored to serve and make an impact in her community and the world. An honor student at Georgia Cyber Academy (powered by K12), that has a desire to raise literacy awareness and encourage others to 
join her in doing so. Collecting over 5,000 books for students in Africa and spending time reading to local students is just a small part of what she does in her community. Having a heart to serve, is what causes her to want to make a difference in the US and internationally. Because of her selfless community service she has received President Obama’s Volunteer Service Award and she was selected as the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards Georgia State Middle Level winner. Damacia has also received several awards for her tireless service from the state of GA and the City of Union City, GA as well as other organizations.
