Disability Insurance--to buy or not to buy?

As dental hygienists, we have all at least contemplated about buying disability insurance. But is it worth the expense? What kind of disabilty insurance is there? How expensive is it? What would it cover? How long would it last if you ever needed to use it?  Today, America's Dental Hygienist, Shirley Gutkowski talks with Ann Hansen about all the pros-and-cons of disablilty insurance. Ann Hansen is a Registered Dental Hygienist and has a Bachelor's Degree in Health. She has over 30 years of dental experience--ranging from registered dental assistant, insurance manager, office manager and dental hygienist. She has been retired from dental hygiene since 2008 but still stays connected to dentistry through education and mentoring.
