In today's society it’s been easy to blur the lines between abuse and effective discipline when it comes to our children.  Many of us inherited corporal punishment from our parents and/or grandparents; commonly being disciplined by way of beatings with dangerous weapons like belts and extension cords, etc. For most of us, this was thought to be normal discipline methods, especially in the black culture.  Now a day’s parents have more so gravitated away from corporal punishment, and started the practice of taking away favorite items, time out and less physical men's of discipline. Recently a father decided to teach his son lesson, via the boxing gloves. Pictures of the 17 year old son showed him bleeding pretty bad from the face, although the father felt his methods were mature and taught his son multiple lessons (boxing as well as discipline), but it's argued that he took it too far; while ironically, the majority of the social media buzz for the Knife Wheeling Granny was the exact opposite and it was “tough Love” supportive?!? Most were supportive? What is considered physically abusing your child?  Let's CHop it up!  We will discuss this topic and more.  Tune in Friday Midnight -2am at blogtalkradio.com/crankhouseradio
