Effed up Family members and should dogs be given weed?

Everyone has their own period of growth but what if a family members messes up on a regular bases...how many times do you come to their rescue? Is it an unlimited amount of times or do you say enough is enough? Does it mean you love them less when you say, hey i can no longer help you?
