I'm back!!! Who's excited for another great episode of Before Bedtime? I am!! Tonight it is my special treat to introduce our guest, Scott Stevenson. Scott's story will inspire and his passion will encourage all of us to make a positive difference this week. Here's a little more info. concerning Scott Stevenson: LOOKS EASY ENOUGH, A Joyful Memoir of Overcoming Disease, Divorce and Disaster which I believe could be a great read and an excellent source of inspiration for your listeners. It's the story of my journey of digging deep and coming up with surprising answers to some pretty tough challenges life threw my way.Twelve years ago, shortly after we were married, my wife Susan was diagnosed with breast cancer and her journey to wellness began. Shortly after surgery (a mastectomy), she opted out of conventional protocol and chose an alternative treatment program under the guidance of a doctor of conventional medicine in New York. LOOKS EASY ENOUGH recounts the trying four-year period where I found myself supporting Susan through her cancer ordeal while at the same time helping my sister wade through her grueling, four-year divorce from her abusive husband. As this was all going on, we were in the midst of building our dream home by ourselves up in the mountains and off the grid. Well, life kept throwing more challenges our way. We finished and moved into our home in 2002 only to have it threatened by the largest forest fire in California's history in 2003. And to top it off, in 2001 we began to see our retirement money circle the drain as the market plummeted. Scott's story will continue Sunday night at 10 PM EST.
