0014 2011, Wed, Feb 9, Conservative Latino Talk Radio is a leader in news, issues, culture and history on Latinos in America. For a change of pace today and because there's lots of news on the subject, I spoke about space today. American space exploration or the lack of it since Obama got in. How it is imperative we have it as other nations are hard at work trying to go to LEO and to the Moon. Yet we, with no direction at NASA, go nowhere fast and while spending enormous amounts of money. I speak of the Constellation program which I greatly admired and lamented deeply its cancellation by Obama. Now that program may see new life as a private commercial venture. I'm excited about that and several other private ventures including a private space station by Bigalow and Boeing. But I continue to assert that in space or any endeavor, America must lead! Americans always lead! It's not cheap, it's not easy, it's frequently dangerous but if you don't lead the view never changes! Americans must lead or they cease to be Americans. Really too bad that our pal Barry can't see any of that.
