In response to the shooting deaths at the Charleston's Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church, South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and Senators Tim Scott and Lindsey Graham (Republican one and all) have demanded that the Confederate flag at the state Capitol complex, be removed.

Many public officials in the state as well as across the nation have indicated that the Rebel flag represents a relic of the past that should be placed in a museum. Others have tied it to the white 21-year-old’s words, who according to CNN said he shot, “the black worshippers in hopes of sparking a race war.”

Join host Kevin Fobbs and Linda Lee Tarver, a Michigan Civil Rights Commissioner, organizational psychologist and Director of Community Affairs & Election Integrity Liaison for the Office of Michigan Secretary of State as they discuss whether taking down the Confederate flag wil result in an end to a century and a half plus symbol of segregation and bring about one America?
