Aside from the two blocks of time when I abused drugs and alcohol, I have always considered myself to be a "health conscious" person.  Even when I was at the peak of my alcoholism, I still enjoyed a "strong constitution."  I would only get sick (not counting "praying to the porcelin goddess") when I had been binge drinking during the cold and flu season. I had my last alcohol in 2013.

I changed from a heath conscious person, to being a health professional in 2004. I started as the office manager, IT department of one, supplement buyer and retail sales in the Holistic Health Center in Medway, Massachusetts owned by the Naturopath Albert "Skip" Snow.  After about 3 years I started doing my own consultations as a Naturopath, and I continued until I closed my practice in 2012 and moved to the mountains north of Asheville, North Carolina to write "the book."

My original intention was to write a comprehensive tome of 300 or 400 pages about what I had learned about reversing disease and maintaining health. After about 2 years I started from scratch and wrote a 30 page "big picture" book on health titled "The Ultimate Scavenger Hunt: A Journey from Fear to Trust," which I self-published as an ebook in 2015.
