Fighting Illini Softball

#212: Tyra Perry, Head Coach, University of Illinois.  Perry, who is in her first year as head coach of the Fighting Illini currently has the team sitting at (12-7) on the season and has quality wins against Florida State, North Carolina and Tulsa.  Illinois next game will be March 15th at 2PM and will be a (DH) against IUPUI as well as the home opener at Eichelberger Field.  Tyra Perry was hired as the University of Illinois' second-ever head coach in June, 2015. She spent the previous 15 seasons as a NCAA Division I softball head coach, totaling 409 career victories as the head coach at Ball State, Western Kentucky, and Birmingham Southern.
