This week the HFL Radio Show will be talking to Mike Metzer, Co Owner of the Kentucky Stallions. The Stallions have a long history in semi pro football going back to 1998. This past year they just missed being part of the HFL playoffs with a record of 9-3 and are now part of the HFL South Division with the Kentucky Bulldogs, Cincinnati Falcons, and River City Night Hawks. the Stallions based in the Northern Kentucky area and have the luxury of calling Rice Mount-Joy Stadium at Dixie Heights High School our home. They are a non-profit, Christian organization, geared toward helping players that are seeking to move on to the next level. As well as providing an avenue for men 18 years or older who still want to play for the love of the game. The Kentucky Stallions are owned by Homer Reeves and Mike Metzger, and are controlled by an all-volunteer Board of Directors. After recording an incredible record of 9-3 and not getting the opportunity to play in the HFL playoffs, the Kentucky Stallions are fit to be tied waiting for the 2011 to arrive and proved that they had a legitimate chance to play in the HFL Championship game.
