Before embarking on her coaching career, Eve was a political appointee for President William J. Clinton, specializing in health and education policy. She taught at the University of Virginia and at the American Cultural Center in Lome, Togo, West Africa. She has served on a White House Task Force and conducted research on women's health and healing in the U.S. and West Africa. Eve holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Virginia. She also has a B.A. in International Relations from the College of William and Mary.
