Black Lives Matter, Police Violence, Lone Gunmen, and Terrorism

Last week's horrifying orgy of unjustified murders and the ensuing mayhem in Dallas, Texas that left five Dallas municipal servants dead requires a reset in national awareness and consciousness. In this episode, we will contribute to this reset.

Our society has allowed government  at every level to operate in compartmentalized systems. Federal funding has supported unnecessary militarization of municipal police departments. The social contract and safety net for Americans that rolled into policy, legislation, funding and implementation is destroyed. We have to ask why, by whom, and for what ultimate goal.

What's the end game? The now identified sniper, ex-military, lone gunman, should by now be a recognizable pattern. Horrifyingly  familiar. We have to question this pattern. We have to question all these lone gunmen being killed after their successful activation. We have to question using a robotic device to blow up a suspect. We have to question the authorities putting words into a dead man's mouth. We have to question what is being rolled out in terms of social patterning and why? We have to question media complicity in supporting an authoritarian control end game. We have to question the clarion cry for this event to produce hate crime legislation to protect police. We have to question the hate speech allowed on social media. We have to question the role of social media in our civilized society. We have to question how this event ties in with definitions of terrorists, terrorism and the Patriot Act.
