Something different this Saturday.  A brother and sister are our guests. Tom Walker and Mary Walker, a borther and sister writing team wrote "Contrary Creek".  The coming of age story spans one year , during which Danny Cloud, the main character, witnesses odd events happening in his town. The hgih school principal engages in a book-banning crusade. The Science teracher says shes a witch.  And a mysdterious series of deaths raises he town's population of 250 on the edge and threatens to tear the town apart..  Tom and Mary grew up on two different ranches in Arizona.  Both attended Arizona State University and the pursued different careers -- Tom in journalism and social work and Mary, a resident of Southern California spends her days with homeless, mentally ill adults and children.  Listen in and join as we welcome  Mary and Tom Walker Sat July 30 2011 at 10:30 AM EASTERN for one hour of delicious fun.
