What a show we have for you this Saturday. Jerry Smith, our guest, has overcome what seems to be a thousand handicaps and he has overcome them all. His grandmother died giving birth, leaving his Mom, a deaf-mute. As an adult, his mother was raped and gave birth to Jerry, who was immediately abandoned. He grew up in foster care, worked his way through college, eventually married. Jerry's first wife was murdered, his grandson killed at 15, Jerry attempted suicide. After a few years, Jerry Smith remarried, found happiness but found he had contracted pulmonary fibrosis, an untreatable and incurable lung disease. He beat the odds. What a story. Tune in!
