Ministry through Community Partnerships

"We'd love to do more disability ministry, but we just don't have the budget!" This is a cry of frustration for lots of churches with BIG hearts for ministry but limited monies to fund them. Listen is as Vangie interviews Ryan Wolfe about how his church built a thriving and diverse diability ministry without adding budget dollars by utilzing relationships through existing agencies in the community.

Ryan is the Developmental Disabilities Pastor at First Christian Church in Canton, Ohio. “First Christian Church believes each person with a disability has the right to participate in a faith community and feel valued as a community member.” As we are going to learn today, they have a thriving ministry meeting the needs of families affected by disability in almost all stages of life.
