My aunt (Vanna English) & I (Alyssa English) started a praise dance team 9 years ago at Fanny Baptist in Flomaton, AL. We started performing & was asked to go to many different churches to perform. We left that church but still continue to participate in different church's programs and events. My aunt then joined a church called Vision in Flomaton, AL where she teaches several different kids praise dances. She is also a Sunday school teacher, and helps out with the youth. Me, however, went the other way around & got kids who weren't in church to dance. 7 to be exact. We then performed at different churches. One particular church we performed at called St. Mark here in Brewton, AL caught my attention. I loved it there, and joined the church. I am now a Substitute Sunday School teacher, director of the praise team, and I'm working my way up to working with the Youth. Our vision with Yung Purpose is to be able to open up our own building where we can A) dance & teach praise dances and B) mentor to all age groups of kids. (Maybe offer daycare services and/or an after school programs for all age group of kids to attend to learn, be mentored, and dance all for God.
