Anthony Muñoz, former NFL offensive tackle and Ontario, Calif., football legend, will be honored in his hometown community as part of a special program called “Hometown Hall of Famers™ presented by the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Allstate.”

Muñoz, a University of Southern California alumnus and 11-time Pro Bowl selection, helped lead the Cincinnati Bengals to three AFC Central Division titles and two AFC championships (1981 and 1988). Widely considered to be the premier tackle during his 13 seasons of play, Muñoz was named the NFL Offensive Lineman of the Year in 1981, 1987 and 1988 and the NFL Players Association Lineman of the Year in 1981, 1985, 1988 and 1989. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1998.
