In this edition of All Subjects Everything, we'll discuss the much-anticipated (yawn) return of the National Football League to the CIty of Angels and what it means for the team (or teams) left out, the jilted city (or cities) being left behind and some overall thoughts on sports playing a not-so-subtle role in the evil known as gentrification.

Also, we'll talk a bit about the Elle magazine piece written by a Black woman who feels the hashtag/movement "Black Girl Magic" is problematic. We'll talk about why that's a foolish line of thinking and why the actual movement matters.
