From November 7 through November 13, 2010 the InterStark Mavens are providing free reviews to anyone who submits their resume. Our free resume evaluation and review does not simply critique the content of your resume - but also the appearance, design and layout. The main focus of our review is directed toward strengths and weaknesses with an emphasis on the organized flow of information, and how you market or sell yourself based on the evidence of value and contributions offered. We also check for spelling, grammar and punctuation errors. Heading up this free effort is our Careers Consultant, Erin Flannery. Erin is the Human Resources Management Intern at the University Career Center at Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. She has worked as a Career Advisor for two years critiquing resumes and assisting students with career planning. This year, in her role as intern, she supervises new student worker training in which she is able to share her knowledge of resume etiquette with her fellow co-workers. Aside from her work at the Career Center, Erin is also in her senior year at Truman State. In May she will graduate with a degree in both Spanish and Romance Languages and plans to attend graduate school in Spain to acquire her Masters in Translation.
